The government was afraid to rescue Jack and a puny woman with well put pants got to courage to at least give it a try, tsk, tsk, tsk, CTU, shame on you.

Jack is now driven to avenge Audrey. Seems like a never ending loop for him. When we think he is done, another bomb goes off in his life. Hang in there Jack.
